Abstract
In this commentary, the authors discuss building collaborative partner ships as a means for enhancing a campus community that will be respons ive to the diverse needs of today's student population. The Student Le arning Imperative (SLI) is used as the foundation in the effort to giv e insight to how collaborative partnerships can enhance diversity in i nstitutions of higher education.
