Abstract
Separation factors and thermodynamic data for the separation of variou s chiral analytes on different 6-TBDMS-derivatized gamma(beta)-cyclode xtrin-phases were collected and discussed. Modifying the alkyl chain l ength of the substituents in position 2, and 3 of the cyclodextrin mol ecule or changing from beta to gamma-CD affects the separation propert ies extremely, whereas changing the chain length of acyl groups in pos ition 2 and 3 hardly influences enantioselectivity.
