Abstract
The axial ground state constants A(0), D-0(K) and H-0(K) of (CH3I)-C-1 3 were determined by combining lines from three perpendicular bands: t he fundamental band nu(6), its overtone 2 nu(6), and the related hot b and 2 nu(6)-nu(6). Ground state combination differences, where Delta K =3, were calculated for ten K value pairs from (3,0) to (12,9). As a r esult, values A(0)=5.1742629(14)cm(-1), D-0(K)=87.857(33) x 10(-6) cm( -1), and H-0(K)=4.44(21) x 10(-9) cm(-1) were obtained.
