Abstract
The spectra of preequilibrium particles, taking into account the energ y dependence of the single-particle level density, are calculated usin g the particle-hole (exciton) level density. We demonstrate the signif icant effect of the finite depth of the potential well (continuum effe ct) on partial emission spectra for configurations with a small excito n number.
