Abstract
The binary decay fragment cross sections and prescission charge multip licity were measured in the reaction of Kr-84 + Al-27 (E(lab) = 10.6 M eV/nucleon) and compared with a statistical model calculation performe d with the code GEMINI as a function of fission delay time. The compar ison has suggested that a composite system may be formed at the point between the saddle and scission points and make a binary decay.
