Abstract
We investigate the Lambda-attachment probabilities A to the fission fr agments formed in Lambda-accompanied nuclear fission. Assuming that in itially the hyperon has an occupation probability of single-Lambda sta tes with a Gaussian form we study the influence of the shape of the sc ission configuration on the attachment probability. Only a weak depend ence of A on the width and on the position of the center of the initia l occupation distribution is found. Unfortunately it masks the also ve ry weak dependence of this quantity on the shape of the scission confi guration.
