A dissection of the internal carotid artery (ICA) in a 50-year-old man
with hypoglossal nerve dysfunction is reported. This case illustrates
how non-invasive imaging techniques, such as computed tomography and
magnetic resonance angiography, can demonstrate this unusual etiology.
