Measurements of absorption cross sections of chlorine dioxide at 200 /- 20 K in the wavelength region 390-454 nm and at resolutions of 0.5
and 0.1 cm(-1) are reported. The measurements were made on an experime
ntal system combining high-resolution Fourier transform spectroscopy w
ith supersonic jet expansions for sample preparation. This is the seco
nd of two papers describing this new technique for obtaining ultraviol
et-visible absorption cross sections at high resolution and under atmo
spheric conditions.
