Abstract
Pure carbondisulfide was treated with ultrasound of a frequency of 20 kHz. Consequently small amounts of C3S2, S-6, S-7, and S-8 were obtain ed, which could be seperated gas-chromatographically and detected by m ass spectroscopy. The yields were approximately proportional to the pe riod of influence.
