Abstract
Chromosome rearrangements involving band 19p13 have been described in about half of all ovarian carcinomas. Four ovarian carcinomas with tra nslocations of 19p13 were investigated with 11 DNA probes for markers localized to this band. All markers exhibited normal restriction patte rns, suggesting that they were not, rearranged. The 19p13 breakpoint o f one tumor was mapped to a location between the INSR and the TCF3 loc i.
