Abstract
A new case report of laparoscopic repair of a diaphragmatic hernia thr ough the foramen of Morgagni in a 53-year-old woman is described. The patient had a successful recovery with no recurrence 2 years after sur gery. The authors propose that the laparoscopic approach is an alterna tive to classical treatment for this kind of hernia.
