Abstract
We report the pump wavelength tuning of a low threshold N-(4-nitrophen yl)-L-prolinol based nanosecond pulsed optical parametric oscillator i n the near infrared. A broad tuning range from 1 to 1.5 mu m correspon ds to a limited pump wavelength excursion from 583 to 590 nm and a rec ord low oscillation threshold of the order of 0.5 MW cm(-2).
