We present numerical simulations of a logic gate based on repulsive in
teraction in a dual-core fiber and call it a soliton-repulsion logic g
ate (SRLG). The operation of the SRLG is compared with that of the con
ventional soliton-dragging logic gate based on cross-phase modulation.
The length of the SRLG can be reduced by a factor of 3 over that of t
he conventional logic gate. By optimizing parameters, terahertz operat
