COLEGRAM, the new LPRI fitting program processes experimental photon s
pectra obtained with semi-conductor detectors. It is mainly characteri
sed by its ability to model different peak shapes in the same region o
f interest, and to use individual parameters for each peak, including
the natural photon Linewidths. Its fast fitting algorithm allows the p
rocessing of complex spectra with an appreciable gain in time. As an i
llustration, it is applied to processing uranium spectra to give emiss
ion probabilities in the complex low-energy region where there are bot
h gamma- and K X-rays.
