Based on the method of ''growth curves'' for radiation intensity, a me
thod is proposed for determining the temperature and electron number d
ensity in the wall layer of plasma. Use is made of the results of meas
urements of the intensity of radiation of the products of evaporation
of CsCl and LiF from the cone side surface under conditions of superso
nic flow of ionized air. Calculations are performed for different perc
entages of Cs and Li in the indicator coating.
