Abstract
In this paper we obtain a global attractivity result for the positive equilibrium of a nonlinear second-order difference equation of the for m x(n+1)=f(x(n),x(n-1)), n=0,1,... The result applies to the differenc e equation x(n+1)=a+bx(n)\A+x(n-1), n=0,1,... where a,b,A epsilon(0,in finity). (C) 1996 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
