Nh. Rees et al., NMR-STUDIES OF THE CONFORMATION OF DESTRUXIN-A IN WATER AND IN ACETONITRILE, Magnetic resonance in chemistry, 34(3), 1996, pp. 237-241
The conformation of destruxin A in solution in H2O and in (CH3CN)-H-2
was determined by distance geometry calculations with inter-proton dis
tance constraints derived from nuclear Overhauser enhancements in the
rotating frame. The conformation is essentially independent of the sol
vent used and closely resembles that found in crystals obtained from b
enzene.
