ROMANIAN RESEARCHES FOR CO2 RECOVERY

In the paper is described the explorative research program on CO2 remo val, performed with the aim to review the CO2 recovery technologies an d to obtain the most suitable method for CO2 recovery from flue gas. F urther, the paper presents the activity focused in studying on laborat ory scale the chemical absorption with solvents, and activators in ord er to obtain data on the most advantageous solvents and operating cond itions. The CO2 recovery laboratory facility is in detail presented, t ogether with the experiments performed for the absorption and desorpti on processes which leaded to the encouraging results.
