Abstract
This case report describes the etiology, diagnosis and treatment of Eh rlichia canis infection in two dogs, the one imported from Portugal an d the other from Mexico. Both animals showed high fever and epistaxis, and the dog from Mexico suffered from posterior paralysis and inconti nence. Treatment with doxycycline rapidly cured one dog, though the ot her one remained incontinent.
