Abstract
:A female with alcohol-induced cirrhosis of the liver developed pulmon ary hypertension eight years after a portocaval shunt procedure, A cal cium channel antagonist was partially effective, The links between pul monary hypertension and portal hypertension are reviewed, Possible ben eficial effects of calcium channel antagonists are discussed.
