Abstract
A 19-year-old man with neurofibromatosis type 1 showed a cutaneous pla que on the right scapular area with grayish coloration and atrophic ap pearance. Histopathologic examination demonstrated features of neurofi broma. Dermatologists should be aware of this uncommon clinical varian t of neurofibroma in order to diagnose neurofibromatosis.
