Abstract
We study a contaminant transport model with Langmuir sorption under no nequilibrium conditions and show that the aqueous phase concentration profile can be obtained exactly in the form of a traveling wave front. The methodology of finding the exact solution is outlined, and an ill ustrative example is presented.
