Mb. Zhumabekova et al., ELECTRODE POLARIZATION OF POWDERED SYMMETRICAL NICKEL SELENIDE ON A TITANIUM CURRENT COLLECTOR, Russian journal of applied chemistry, 68(4), 1995, pp. 506-509
The possibility of using titanium as a current collector in filled ele
ctrodes for studying the electrode polarization, of metal chalcogenide
s was substantiated thermodynamically. Self-dissolution currents, the
slopes of the Tafel portions, and the order of the electrode reaction
with respect to OH-, H+, and SO42- ions in sulfate media with a consta
nt ionic strength were determined, using symmetrical nickel selenide a
s an example.
