Abstract
Seven patients with multiple sclerosis who were receiving subcutaneous injections of recombinant interferon beta had pain followed by ulcera tion at the injection site. An eighth patient had a pustular flare of her usually mild psoriasis. No evidence of infection or contaminated m edication was found.
