5 DITERPENOID ALKALOIDS FROM DELPHINIUM-CARDIOPETALUM

A further study of the alkaloidal constituents of Delphinium cardiopet alum led to the isolation of five new highly functionalized diterpenoi d alkaloids, cardiopine, cardiopinine, cardiopimine, cardiopidine and cardiodine. Their structures were established by 1D and 2D NMR spectro scopy, (HCOSY)-H-1, HMQC, HMBC and ROESY, and chemical transformations .
