Abstract
In the present study, we have examined the susceptibility of whole pla sma to lipid peroxidation in rats fed on diets supplemented with olive oil and sunflower seed oil. This susceptibility were shown to decreas e in olive oil group, however no change was observed in sunflower seed oil group. In conclusion, ii, has been suggested that olive oil diet may offer some advantages in the resistance of oxidative stress in the organism.
