Abstract
The intrinsic viscosity data for oligo-(p-phenylene)s (reported by Ker n et al.) are analyzed in terms of the modern version of the theory ba sed on the model of a rigid rod with hemispherical end-caps. Dimension s of the chains are evaluated.
