Abstract
The fabrication of stable Langmuir-Blodgett films of poly(o-methoxyani line) is described. The spectra and electrical conductivities of the o btained films are in reasonable agreement with the respective data rep orted in the literature for poly(aniline). Exposure to HCl results in changes of the absorption spectrum and the electrical conductivity, ma king the system a promising candidate for an active element of gas sen sing devices.
