Abstract
Two-electron processes in the ionisation of D-2 have been studied usin g the dissociative ionisation process. The dissociative ionisation cro ss section is compared with that for non-dissociative ionisation and t he ratio of the cross sections is shown to depend on the projectile ch arge and velocity in accordance with the semi-empirical law suggested in an earlier work.
