Abstract
Let Psi be the conformal isomorphism from the complement of the unit d
isc to the complement of the Mandelbrot set N. We study the map Psi at
the roots of the hyperbolic components of M. It is shown that the fun
ction (log \w - w(0) \(-1))(-1) describes Psi at each periodic point w
(0) of the map w --> w(2).
