Abstract
We present the case of a 45-yr-old female patient with a 23 yr history of interstitial cystitis that multiple surgical procedures, including a ceco-cystoplasty, were unable to cure. After a cystectomy was perfo rmed, histological examination of the bladder showed the development o f collagenous colitis. Although the etiology oi both interstitial cyst itis and collagenous colitis is unknown, this report postulates an ass ociation between these two conditions.
