Abstract
We present a mathematical model describing the growth and development of capillary sprouts in response to the chemotactic stimulus of a tumo r angiogenesis factor (TAF). Exact analytical solutions are then deriv ed for a simplified model which retain the salient qualitative feature s of the full model.
