Analysis indicated significant differences between the two groups on
the Staggered Spondaic Word Test and the stress subtest of the Sentenc
e Disambiguation Task. In addition, 7 of the 10 stuttering subjects pe
rformed more poorly on the three measures than nonstuttering subjects.
