Abstract
Recent evidence has demonstrated that the yeast Skn7p appears to act a s a 'response regulator' in a eukaryotic 'two-component' signal transd uction pathway. A search to identify possible regulators of the SKN7 m ediated 'two-component' regulatory system has identified Ask10p as a n ovel potential transcription factor. The ASK10 sequence has been depos ited in GenBank with Accession Number U27209.
