Abstract
We previously isolated the mel-18 gene, a mammalian Polycomb group (Pc G)-related gene with homology to bmi-l oncogene. We show in this paper the existence of a new gene, meE-13, which overlapped with the mel-is anti-oncogene. We discuss the relationships between mel-13 and the me l-18, bup, and Su(z)2 genes.
