Vs. Remizovich et Av. Radkevich, ANALYSIS OF THE STRUCTURE OF LIGHT FIELDS IN DISORDERED MEDIA WITH MODEL BIDIRECTIONAL PHASE FUNCTIONS USING THE METHOD OF SEPARATION OF FLUXES, Laser physics, 6(1), 1996, pp. 1-9
In this paper, we use the method of separation of fluxes to analyze Li
ght fields in the case of the normal incidence of a stationary laser b
eam upon the surface of a semi-infinite medium with disordered scatter
ing centers described by the model bidirectional phase function. The s
tructure of ascending and descending fluxes is thoroughly investigated
. Conditions are found when only one partial flux dominates in descend
ing and ascending radiation. The dependence of the total and partial c
oefficients of reflection from a semi-infinite medium on the main opti
cal characteristics of the medium is analyzed. Conditions are determin
ed when the calculation of the total reflection coefficient can be rep
laced by the calculation of the first partial reflection coefficient.
