The enantioselectivity of a series of chiral analytes was examined on
tris-(3,5-dimethylphenyl carbamate) coated onto microporous APS-silica
. The effects of the nature of the carbohydrate, the weight ratio of c
arbamate/support and the type of alcohol present in the mobile phase w
ere investigated. Among the chiral analytes examined, propanolol showe
d an extremely good resolution. The resolution of tetramisole was opti
mized and the method developed was shown to be suitable for analysis o
f the drug in commercial tablets and in a suspension. (C) 1996 Wiley-L
