Abstract
Introduction of metal (Ag, Fe, Cu) into ionite leads to the formation of metal-containing redoxite with mixed ionic and electronic conductio n, which is realized through counterions, metal component, and polymer ic matrix. Overall electrical conductivity is affected by metal nature , metal's oxidizability, its capability for forming ionic and oxide pr oducts, as well as by steric factors (amount of metal, pore volume occ upied by metal). An adequate amount of metal reduces activation energy of ionite conductivity.
