Abstract
All eight components of the irreducible tensor T((11)q) that transform s according to the adjoint representation of the su(q)(3) quantum alge bra are found explicitly. The components of the tensor with vanishing shift Delta = (00) are constructed from the generators A(ij) of this a lgebra.
