Abstract
Electron spin resonance g-factor, linewidth, and spin susceptibility o f single crystals of the fully deuterated bis(ethylenedithio)tetrathia fulvalene (D8-(BEDT-TTF)) based conductor with octaiodine-mercurate an ion (Hg3I8)2- are found to show pronounced temperature dependences bet ween 4 and 300 K. A first-order phase transition of the type semicondu ctor-semiconductor is observed at 258 K. Discussion of the ESR paramet ers and the nature of the phase transition is given.
