Migration of benzophenone triplet excitations in polymethylmethacrylat
e and methylmethacrylate-styrene copolymer has been studied under stea
dy state excitation by using 1-chloronapthalene as a trap. The excitat
ion energy capture efficiency by a trap has been obtained as a functio
n of the donor concentration at various trap concentrations. Percolati
on model has been successfully applied to evaluate the critical expone
nts. The evaluated critical exponents are in very good agreement with
three dimensional triplet excitation migration topology in poly-methyl
methacrylate and two dimensional one in the copolymer.
