Abstract
An inventory of dust emission from paved roads of the metropolitan are a of Shanghai City is accomplished on the basis of field experiments a nd an inventory of traffic and road conditions. The result shows the a nnual amount of road dust emission contributed to the ambient TSP poll ution of Shanghai City is approximately 12,300 tonnes (in 354 km2).
