Abstract
In this paper a method for the optimization of TV re-emitter antenna s ystem design is described. In highly interference-limited environments re-emitters' coverages must be confined to the actual shadow areas th ey are intended to serve, thus limiting interference on other systems nearby. The use of software planning tools using Terrain Data Bases (T DB) is of great value in this optimisation task as is showed in this p aper.
