A model of dispersive hopping transport is presented. Carrier transpor
t under non-equilibrium conditions is shown to have characteristic fea
tures of an adiabatic process. The time dependences of transport chara
cteristics are governed by the time dependence of the density of 'deep
' localized states. An adiabatic equation of dispersive transport is d
erived. The general results are applied to systems having an exponenti
al distribution of localized states.
