Abstract
Tripeptide alpha',beta'-epoxyketones were prepared stereospecifically starting from Boc-[S]-phenylalanine. Diastereomer 5b inhibited the chy motrypsin-like activity of porcine endothelial cell derived proteasome at low nanomolar concentrations.
