Abstract
Intramolecular acylation of gamma-benzoyloxy phosphine oxides with LDA in the presence of Me(3)SiCl gives silyl ethers with high stereoselec tivity: treatment of these silyl ethers with t-BuOK gives optically ac tive di- and trisubstituted cyclopropyl ketones in good yield.
