Abstract
The crystal structure of the title compound, C34H28O4, consists of dis crete molecules held together by normal van der Waals interactions. Th e molecule possesses a crystallographic twofold axis passing through t he midpoints of the two double bonds of the cyclohexadiene ring. The a symmetric C atoms in the dioxolane rings have an S,S configuration.
