Abstract
Changes in the crystalline structure and physical properties of hexago nal ferrites and monocrystalline ferrite-garnet films under the influe nce of unipolar corona discharge are investigated, It was found out th at under the influence of the corona discharge, the redistribution of ions and defects among sublattices of hexagonal barium ferrite was obs erved, The ferrite-garnet films treatment in corona discharge results in the change of optical and magnetic properties, The mechanism of the ir change is proposed.
