Abstract
DNA testing has revolutionized the forensic sciences. Forensic testing
has continued to evolve, and now several methods are in use. The pred
ominant methods of forensic DNA analysis are described, and their appl
ication in casework is summarized. The legal acceptance of this testin
g also is discussed.
