Abstract
The behavior of a system is deeply related to asymptotic properties of functions describing the system. On the other hand, asymptotic proper ties of functions involves subtle points from the mathematical point o f view. In this note, two cases which often appear in problems of appl ied mathematics are considered and two functions having interesting as ymptotic properties are constructed.
